Aanya's Pre-Birthday Celebration - Bday Freebies!

Yay! Its almost birthday time...

Have been awaiting this month & day with great excitement, as usual. And although we're not at home, I thought having a little online celebration would help me get rid of the guilt of not being able to throw a birthday party!

Aanya's Birthday Preparations...Decor done!

Am finally done with the Decor part of my daughter's birthday in December. Feels good! 

As I told you earlier, I've decided on the Woodland theme this year! Why? Well, its got animals, has a certain charm to it...and gives a wide of range to get creative with stuff for the party.

Time is Flying!!!

Seems like yesterday, when I had a teeny weeny little bundle in my arms... Those first little 'Firsts' - smile, tooth, gurgles, words, steps, jump, bite... everything has been so very special. Now, as I prepare to create her 4th birthday decor items, feels like time is flying away too soon... I want to capture every second of her life, every expression, every word she utters - because when she'll be a big girl, I'd want to go back and peep again, into her tiny world. 

Even though every second cannot be captured, the special moments need to be made extra special. I just wish to give her a fairy tale life,  full of wonderful dreams & beautiful moments! Because she is the most amazing thing in my life!

Its been hectic, with festivities & birthdays all in a row, one after another. Top that up with the school activities that need some creative attention! Working on Aanya's birthday celebrations. Finalized the theme, decor items & her dress. Lots to work on... but here's a precursor ...

Dear Hubby, Happy Handmade Birthday! ;)

The month of October brings in many joys... some Indian festivals (loaded with prayers, sweets & desserts, traditional attires & lots of excitement!), my Father's birthday & my Hubby's birthday! 

This year (like last year) I wanted to gift my Hubby something special... something that he would not have had previously and would have it just for himself... So I went ahead with creating these... 

1) A poster with his initial letter 'A' & words defining him.

2) Birthday Notes 

Tried various fonts here, I guess it worked wonders! :)

Originally planned to get my daughter to color these animals,
but I guess its readable this way! lol!

3) A Coffee Mug printed with a collage of his pics...

Its a wonderful feeling... to make, gift and then see the expressions!
